A little about us
Sparrow Woods is a place where you can find one-of-a-kind, welcoming, affordable home decor, beautiful handmade furniture and so much more. We also offer event styling and planning and have some pretty big ideas for the future of our business that we can’t wait to share in the coming months.
So how did we get started? We are female entrepreneurs, moms, wives and friends who reconnected in 2020 over red wine and mussels on a cold winter night in Cleveland. After a year of “should we’s?”, we finally came together and decided we really should. And just like that two grade school friends reconnected over a passion for more of all the things that inspire us, creativity, freedom, and dreams coming true. We walked in as friends and left as business partners.
We created Sparrow Woods with the intention to provide you with a mix of unique, chic, and affordable home decor and accessories. We did this by combining our two unique styles to curate an offering that we’re confident will help you bring your own home vision to life. Just because your home may be messy from life, kids, pets, husbands (eh-hem - winky face here) doesn't mean that it can't look stylish and welcoming underneath! We offer a stunning mix of handmade items and vintage finds, with beautiful pieces we’ve hand picked from amazing vendors.

Meet Lauren
Hi! I’m Lauren Co- founder of Sparrow Woods Home.
I believe anyone can achieve a beautiful home amongst the chaos and mess of life, and that’s a big piece of what inspires my style. My style is a mix between Joanna Gaines, Shay McGee, and Amber Lewis. I love a mix of modern / modern farmhouse/traditional/ tad of rustic and repurposed or thrifted items. I love anything clean and bright, then add a little texture to make things interesting! I’m a sucker for sentimental touches, framing old family pictures and recipes and displaying a set of my parents wedding plates.
My biggest accomplishments are being a mother to four wild kids and wife to an amazingly supportive husband. When my husband and I aren’t chasing them or taxiing them around you can usually find us working on some sort of home project that I’ve thrown us into!

Meet Alexis
Hi! My name is Alexis, Co-founder of Sparrow Woods Home Collective. I’m a momma to my son Shane and wife to husband Matt. My career has been on the back burner for a few years and it feels great to be back at it. Feeling like myself again! I know many moms out there know the feeling.
My love for vintage finds and styling decor started when I was in my 20’s living on my own. I didn’t have a lot of cash coming in. My family spoiled me with hand-me-down, old furniture & that’s when my love for thrifting began. I wanted to find more. If something didn’t fit my taste, I took them on as projects. Give me a big cup of coffee and a DIY project & I’m golden.
My style has always been boho/mid-century modern. I also like mixing different textures & period pieces. I’ve grown to love the eclectic look, mixing multiple design styles in one space and filling your home with personality. I’ve always been back and forth on which exact style is really me. I love a little bit of everything! That’s why I enjoy working with Lauren and mixing our styles together and creating Sparrow Woods. Stay tuned, we’re just getting started.
